Although I'm a woman I took a chance and bought these to wear indoors and out. I wanted ladies but I read they are too small for American legs. I broke my ankle many years ago and all the slippers I had hurt my feet and also wore out too quickly from having to rush out onto the lawn to check on the house hens which were beginning to fawn at hawks to warn. or fox or whatever. They're still clogs, I think
