May not solve your remote control problem
So our 2008 Suburban LT remote stopped working. At first it was only sporadic, but then it wasn't there anymore. Replacing the batteries didn't help so they ordered those but it appears to be something else, most likely a GM Omron keyless receiver? This must be programmed by the dealer. Definitely, but again if necessary.
