Pretty easy to use!
Despite my inexperience with making buttercream frosting at home, this little template turned out to be a pretty decent cake. You have to wipe it after each piece to keep it from seeping through. I simply placed it on top of the cake and using an icing spatula (made of bent metal) covered the template with icing.
