This is the best money I've ever spent on pet products. I took the largest green linen bed for my 60 lb boxer/heeler mix and stuffed it with old pillows. It's fluffy and comfortable and my dog loves it. The material is thick and of good quality. I've had it for a few months now and it has survived multiple washes, bone chewing sessions, tosses and my dog fluffed it up with his dragon claws every night. There are no snags or breaks and it shows no signs of wear. Lightning is powerful and not cheap. The waterproof inner lining is a nylon material that isn't too flimsy and I don't have to worry about the contents getting wet with saliva or dirt. All I have to do is take the tarp off and throw it in the laundry - what other dog bed can you do that with?! I don't have to worry about the filling going bad or taking up a lot of space in the car. Dog beds are disgusting. I just take off the cover, the bed stays inside, wash it and put it back on. SO EASY.Plus, it's huge. My dog can curl up in half or stretch out on anything. You can spend over $100 for another bed of the same size. And you recycle old pillows, which are expensive in the first place. What a waste to throw them away. My dog will enjoy pillows in his bed for years. I cannot recommend this bed enough. So glad I bought it.
