To be completely honest, the sub was chosen at random, and its effectiveness was not fully trusted. Supporting its own acoustics from Audio Pro is strongly advised. The uncertainty, though, vanished. Hard rock is played flawlessly with the Audio Pro SW-10. Everything is played with clarity, depth, and without lower register smearing. Passive radiators substantially boost the sound pressure and increase the overall efficiency of the sub. All of these bands, as well as Megadeth, Manowar, Judas Priest, Metallica, etc., sound great when the acoustics are good. In this instance, the Magnat Tempus 77 floor acoustics subwoofer is on low-frequency support. The sound source and the amplifier both play a significant role. The source is a Yamaha CD-S300 CD player that is being amplified by a Yamaha A-S300. format for CDDA listening.
