I think it was worth the money because in this set I had clasps, beads, tweezers, scissors and a rubber band. The only thing I think you need to buy extra is some glue to keep your knots intact. As you can see some of the beads were deformed, I hope I won't find them in the set. Edit: If you are using elastics in this kit you will need to hand thread the beads as the needle threader is too thick for the beads to go through. What I had to do was buy needles
