I have very thin and very short hair, so it's difficult for me to get a decent looking hair let alone a pattern with no gaps between them. Well, it turns out that you need to place it in the area where you want the curls to start and leave it there without moving it for 5-8 seconds. From there, continue moving down and around the head. Once your hair is styled with the right temperature (out of 4 options depending on your hair type) your hair will look like a bunch of weird, possibly "greasy" hairs. "similar" waves. At this point, just style it the way you like it best and voila! Finally! I can curl my curls again without having to use curl mousse, which keeps my hair very damp.
