Review on πŸ”Š Immerse in Audio Excellence with Klipsch Surround 3 Speaker Pair, Black - Model:1067530 by Jason Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The loudest of these are crackling and static.

I have the second such set. Had the same problem with both. They're too quiet, and the right rear channel makes a loud pop after about an hour of use. I updated the firmware on the Soundbar 48 and it got a little louder, but the loudest noise is still the popping. Louder, quieter doesn't matter, they clap. Increase or decrease the soundbar volume. Same bang bass volume up or down same noise. I think I might request another set but I've emailed Klipsch tech support and we'll see what they say. I had problems with the soundbar when I got it and had to replace it, but it didn't work properly until I got the replacement from the factory. They had a bunch of bad serial numbers. I've seen a few questions about the replacement kit fixing the issue so I'm hoping there are a number of affected serial numbers and they can send me something that doesn't suffer from this pop up. Otherwise I will look for a refund and refuse the back channel. It's a shame, because when the sound and volume are right, they sound great. It just isn't loud enough when the volume on the soundbar and subwoofer is cranked up. Then you don't hear them. I hope I can edit this and the problem gets fixed. I have a wired Klipsch 7.1 system connected to a Pioneer Elite receiver and the sound is amazing. I didn't expect a comparable sound from them, but I expected something good. Fingers crossed. My rating has been changed to 5. I know many people in these reviews have experienced this issue and no one has found a solution. I spoke to Klipsch support and they suggested moving the speaker away from anything that uses Wi-Fi. The speaker was in the corner next to my cable modem, router, and ring camera. I removed the camera without modification. I moved the router back about 6 feet and voila! No popping. The speakers, both, were noticeably louder too. Try this before you send it back. It works!
