Well, everything works. The pole itself is strong. I bought it because I needed something small and cheap for the shower in our camper. (The camper will never move from its spot in the trailer park - I wouldn't try to put it in a moving RV.) Putting it together was easy once I measured the shower and knew which pole I didn't need. . The difficult thing was that either the direction was wrong or the cork bags were labeled wrong. There are two stoppers, one for the top and one for the bottom, and they are two different sizes because they fit different sized bars. In the instructions I tried to put a small cork on a large rod but I figured it out and flipped it and it went on with no problem. The instructions also say to place the tapered end of the clear plastic piece that wraps around the shelf and holds the shelf face up, but when I tried that the shelves just slid down the shelf. I made the shelves stay up by turning them tapered end down. There is very little weight on the shelves. One has a bar of soap, another has a pumice stone for feet and shower gel, a third has a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner. If I try to add anything else there, they won't hold up without some creativity on my part. Let's see what happens when I put in a new bottle of conditioner - mine is almost empty now.
