This swim skirt is really well made and cute. The sizing bothers me. I'm 5ft 4in, 135lbs and usually wear a size 4/6. I ordered a medium first, it was too big. Then I ordered a small and it was something more. The small ones fit, but you have to keep in mind that things get heavy and tend to grow/slip when you go in the water. I want my swim trunks to fit snugly where I feel safe. In the photo I have a small size. As I said, looks good, but doesn't sit very tight in the waist. I think I'll try to order very small (I've never been very small), otherwise I'll have to accept and change. The lining is also a bit big. I'll probably take it. Conclusion: If you are between two sizes, the size will be smaller. In general, consider downsizing UNLESS you want a looser fit. Update: I ordered a very small size and it fits. Now it's too short and I feel like my butt is about to pop out. In the end I got stuck with the small size. It's a little roomy for me, but it works. I swam in it and it worked. I would recommend. I should point out that if you have VERY curvaceous butt/thighs your normal size will probably fit you. There's just one spot in the skirt that I'm not used to. Normally my swimming trunks are closer to the body, not like this, but more snug than here.
