Not only have they eliminated single-use plastic bags for groceries, the groceries stay fresh and I can store them in a plastic bag in the fridge. The mesh is breathable, you can use a bag that's the right size for what you're buying, and even pointed stems can be stuffed in without fear of tearing or tearing. In the fridge, the bags can be opened or closed, skipping the unwrapping step or printing on the tops of the plastic bags. So far, there are no problems in self-service with tare weight or in grocery lines with cashiers. It's easy enough to see what's in the bags, although they're less clear than plastic bags, you can see through them. 100% recommend these.
