Due to the way the mask straps are made, you need to wear them around your ears to keep them snug and comfortable. However, it would be better for a child with small ears rather than an adult. When I put it on my ears it pulls my ears down which hurts like hell. If I don't put it on my ears, it loosens and the part of the bridge where the nose is located becomes uncomfortable. Buy another mask because this is definitely not it.
