I have personally used Blue Buffalo as recommended by my vet for my lab who has had childhood health issues for the past 10 years and it is amazing - she still thinks and feels that she is a puppy; However, this stamp is not included in my disabled son's budget for his purebred schnauzer left to him by his grandfather. Now that the dog is older he has digestive issues, poor coat and skin quality, very smelly and strange fluff and always seems hungry/unhappy. So I tried other cheaper Health brand granules but nothing changed. I was so glad and happy that I found Nature's Recipe Small Bite Granules! Not only is it cheaper than others I've tried so within my son's budget, but this is the first time in YEARS that either of us have seen our dog so happy and his skin and coat have never looked better . For the first time he is satisfied with his feeding and the droppings look and smell normal for his breed. Also, my son is doing so well that he can now feed his child healthy food and his grandfather's food...and having it on AutoShip adds to the savings.
