That might be fine for some people, but I'm not a fan at all. 1) Adjusting the setting is heart rate only. There is only one non-constant flow impulse option. Even the lowest setting is still powerful and dangerous. 2) The pressure is so high it just damaged my teeth. I tried to photograph a hole in the tooth enamel, but it's very difficult. I really hope my tooth recovers but actually it hurts now. 3) I actually bought this because my sister says she uses her irrigator to remove tonsil stones. my tonsils were bleeding like crazy and now they are scabbed and bruised from the pressure. It says not to use in the throat, so no star deduction for it - just a warning to anyone with tonsil stones/pocket tonsils looking for an easy, hygienic way to clean them. I didn't receive the irrigator because there were a lot of bad reviews and they said it couldn't be taken back. All three stars are for the price and the hassle-free return. At least it seems easy, I'll update if it doesn't. I'm also not a big fan of the amount of water used, it's like running water when brushing your teeth, maybe a little better. I see it's good for braces or dentures.
