If you are unfamiliar with using hard wax, buy regular wax
I gave it 3 stars because I like the machine itself. It also had many bonus items. Where I took away the stars is that I used the wax that came with the kit and I got scars where I used it and I still had hair in that area so I wasn't at all happy. Be careful.
