Pleasantly surprised!

I've tried (and returned) MANY of these inexpensive "Wacom alternatives" interactive displays over the years and to my surprise I think I've finally found a keeper with this Gaomon product. In my humble opinion, this model outperforms most other brands' larger and/or more expensive models (although some of their components are pretty obviously included, for what it's worth). It might not be the "premium" tablet, but it has everything that matters (in my opinion) and so far feels more reliable and enjoyable than many others I've tried. The PD1560 checks all the necessary values for me - Nice HD screen, lots of keyboard shortcuts, pressure-sensitive stylus with low initial activation force and little to no parallax (at least from the angle I'm looking at it for drawing)? Check, check, check. Combine these qualities with a perfectly reasonable price and you have a winner! At first I thought it was too small for me, but turns out I *really* like this 15.6-inch workstation; It is very convenient and conducive to drawing - no more strain on your hands and eyes. I initially had a little hiccup with the driver which got fixed and since then it's just been a pleasure to use (it's also worth noting that the driver/control panel is very basic and user friendly; always a plus). Friendly and helpful. Colors require minimal adjustments. The tablet does not get hot or warm like many other interactive displays. The stylus squeaks a little on the glass, but that wears off over time (the stylus also took a bit of coaxing initially to get it moving properly in the stylus/registering on the screen, but a good firm press on the table was enough to solve it and now I'm pretty thorough. I'm enjoying all 8192 levels of pressure - it makes nice thin lines, especially in Clip Studio). Works great with every program I've tried so far, except Autodesk Sketchbook, which lagged badly. I have no idea what it's about, but I don't use the program much anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much. As long as this little guy lasts at least a few years (we'll see), here's what I'd say. The tablet is worth every penny. ***UPDATE*** 03/25/2018 I still love this baby. Current drivers no problem. In fact, I liked it so much I bought a second one - one for home, one for work. Keep it up GAOMON! :D
