I've read a lot of conflicting reviews about this product so I wanted to make sure I write one for myself and for anyone like me who is on a tight budget but still wants to keep their kitten happy. .My cat LOVES this thing. She has no front claws and still uses scratching posts for some unknown feline reason, so don't let that fool you. That being said, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the lugs are a bit smaller than I'd like (I would have preferred an extra inch on each side to allow it to stretch a bit better), but it doesn't stop there. stopping Poppy from resting on these things to take a nap; I also think that another entry hole at the bottom of the box could have made it a little more attractive to her, I haven't seen her in it that often. YOU SHOULD ALSO KNOW THAT MY CAT IS 4 YEARS OLD BUT STILL SMALL (according to the vet, she's the ideal cat weight for her size, so if you've heard anything like that, it's probably a good size fit for your cat) . IF YOUR CAT IS FAT (And don't lie to yourself, you know if your fluffy little one is a chub owner) I suggest you are not happy with the size of this cat tree. My apologies for the excessive use of capitalization, but I've seen many people complain that their cats don't fit. She also LOVES the hanging ball. I switch where it is, lower or higher, sometimes to switch it for her. SUPER easy to assemble. HAVE FUN.
