Review on High-Performance White/Chrome Superstar Hotshot Portable Bluetooth Speaker by Monster MSP SPSTR by Robert Hickey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sound for such a small and cheap speaker.

To be honest when I think of Monster products I think of something very high quality but at a ridiculous price. This little speaker is a good exception as long as it stays in the sub-$30 range where it currently sits (23.95). It's very simple, just an on/off switch with an instant Bluetooth pairing option. The silicone carabiner loop is also a nice feature. When I first used mine the sound was really blank and I was very disappointed, I used it for about 4 hours then turned it off. The next day I ran it again and the sound was much better. Same device, same connection, I think it needs a break so keep that in mind when you buy it. For a small size, the speaker has pretty good volume and impressive bass levels. If you put it upright on a smooth surface it will start to move a bit, so I recommend laying it on its back. In terms of moving mine rolled off a fairly high workbench onto a concrete floor, the net popped out but reappeared immediately and still sounded just as good afterwards so its durability isn't too bad either. The battery life isn't great, around 3 hours, but I used it in a shop and near the maximum volume. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a small but powerful bluetooth speaker and please do us all a favor and don't use it to listen to music in a crowded public place. + Pros: + Very good sound for such a smile. One driver + Fair price + Easy customization with or without NFC + Fairly durable + Carabiner + Pretty to look at - Cons: - Mediocre battery life = Thoughts = Strong bass, depends on your taste if you like it or not = Because for that strong bass he likes to go his own way straight from desks and tables
