I chose this product after trying several other braces and braces. I've been struggling with pain in my right wrist for over a year, mainly because most of my work is computer related (despite the ergonomic setup). I've tried different carpal tunnel braces: the glove didn't help and all the braces were metal, which restricted movement and function. I recently switched to a wrist brace which was closer but still didn't hit the mark. This led me to realize that pressure is the only thing that successfully stops pain. After researching many compression sleeves I settled on this one based on the length and style and some of the more detailed positive reviews I saw. Now that I've tried it, I have no hesitation in recommending it. Within minutes of putting the sleeve on, the pain in my wrist was relieved. It hasn't entirely gone away, but for the first time in years I can forget it. At work, the sleeve is comfortable and does not restrict movement. I've read complaints about thumb sticks; although I've noticed it, I don't find it a hindrance. I occasionally run my finger under it, but overall it doesn't bother me. Unless you're looking for a heavier aid, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. Note. I must also add that I was particularly pleased with the customer service provided. I first ordered a small wrist cuff and found it too tight. After emailing the company, I received a response in less than 24 hours. They didn't ask me to return the original product and immediately sent a replacement in the size I wanted. I am happy to report that in this case I can recommend both the product and the company behind it.
