Review on Notebook 15.6" HP VICTUS 15-Fa0031dx Core i5 12450H/8Gb/512Gb SSD/NV GTX1650 4Gb/15.6" FullHD/Win11 Silver gray (68U87UA) by Stanislaw Wawrzynowi ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite what I wanted, but mostly okay.

I bought to replace the deceased hp elitebook, I also decided that I needed a slightly larger case and, as a bonus, a full-fledged keyboard for work. Intel - because you often have to work with files, 1650 for VR. I can’t say that I liked something - the plastic flimsy case, the keyboard is tactile worse than the elite, the speakers look down, the fans whistle audibly. The 144 Hz screen did not impress with either contrast or clarity. Why such a refresh rate with such a weak card?

Pros
  • A weighty PSU is included, while with 1650 the laptop is still mobile. The only advantage for me is the price at which I was able to purchase.
Cons
  • Incomprehensible savings on the RAM - only 8GB. Delivered recommended on the site HP crucial 8 GB for 1800r. Would it have greatly affected the price of a laptop if the manufacturer had initially set 16? There is no slot for a second ssd. No RGB lighting. There are no buttons for the wheelbarrow due to its size.
