I needed about 10 extra feet in the Cat 5 trail after my home office reorganization and at any given time I had half a dozen short cables in my old backpack, so Adding a couple of cables with these connectors was the quickest and cheapest way to get started again. I probably should have gone with a smaller package because I have 8 spares now, but I think I can make longer cables now.
