I was trying to find a way to build a ladder for my boat trailer to get onto the boat during a solo launch. In the end, I settled on a minimalist design. Two of those folding steps bolted to the trailer winch post (one on each side) did the trick. I can fold them up, get on the boat and fold them up when not in use. They are excellent for this purpose and hold a lot of weight. I definitely recommend them. And at that price, it beats those hundred-dollar-plus trailer ladders.
