Review on Chinoiserie Botanical Branches Ornamental Egyptian by Lori Williams

This is a beautiful duvet cover. The pattern is beautiful, it washes off with small creases that are easy to smooth out and are very soft to the touch. Why only 2 stars? I washed it before using it on a quick cold water cycle. The amount of blue dye in the wash water was insane. It was like a bathtub full of ink. The blue dye in the wash water changed all the other colors of the fabric. Before washing, the flowers in the pattern were off-white. After washing, they turned light blue/grey and the overall contrast of the pattern changed. I'm sending it back because it's not as pretty as it was before washing. I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO PURCHASES THIS SET OF DOWN QUIETS IN ONE OF THE 3 COLORS TO USE DYE ABSORBING COVERS IN THE WASHING MACHINE. MAYBE IT WOULD HELP. SORRY I DIDN'T DO THIS.
