Review on πŸš— Autofeel LED Light Bar: High-Performance 7 Inch 60W LED Pods for Off Road Driving - Flood Spot Beam Combo Ideal for Trucks, ATVs, and Boats by Dave Knain

These 7 inch lights are bright!

I recently purchased two pairs of 7" Autofeel LED Panels as an upgrade for my F250 Super Duty. So far I am very happy with the purchase. The lights arrived on time and well packaged. They're small, but the aluminum cases feel very solid. A clear, one-piece lens encloses the front and sides of the light and appears to be sealed very tightly. The only place where water can get in is through the rubber grommet where the electrical cords protrude on the back. A drop of silicone should eliminate this possibility. These babies are very bright! After installation, my wife was following me home from a meeting and I accidentally hit the taillight switch. When she returned home, she "let me know" that the light was very bright. The part I can reiterate is that she saw the spots within ten seconds of turning the light off. I intend to use these lights for off-road driving and to illuminate construction sites at night, so I'm sure they will provide enough light for my purposes. For my project I ran a thick cable from the passenger side battery to a small driver side fuse box in the engine bay. This arrangement provided a safer, more accessible location for multiple 12V power outlets and allowed more logical firewall penetration for switch wiring. It also has multiple fuses to protect the circuit. Each pair of lamps is connected to a power source via pre-wired harnesses, also available from Revain. The wiring harnesses are grounded to the chassis, eliminating the need to run a wire to the negative battery terminal. Currently (no pun intended) I easily run a 20 amp fuse from the battery to the fuse block and 10 amp fuses through the harnesses to the headlights, a clear indication that the headlights are drawing little current. I installed the headlights. special brackets where the extra factory tow hooks would be if the new headlights were bright. Didn't want to blind other drivers. Glad I did! The taillights were hung from some tricky brackets available on the Revain that clamped onto the bumper or hood panel. Next I connected the wire harnesses to the headlights. The front suspension was perfect from the start. The rear wiring harness needed to be lengthened, but I knew that before the project started. I hooked up the wiring harnesses to the 12 volt power supply and (angels chanting in the background) Bam! Pure white light where nicotine was once colored. Night driving no longer tires your eyes. It's important to have these lights properly aligned if you intend to use them on the road. Their design features ensure a light that illuminates both the edge of the road and the high beam. The light easily exceeds the range of my factory headlights. YouTube has the information you need to properly reference them. I will post an update in the future to confirm their durability. Right now the price, quality, ease of installation and the brightness of the pure white light make me a fan.
