ideal for stationary use

So I own this toilet and have been using it for almost a year now. I mainly use it for camping and in my Sprint van. The toilet is excellent for use in a situation where it is not being transported with liquid in the overhead cistern. For example, I use it when camping, put it in a small retreat tent, fill the upper rinse chamber, add some blue powder to the lower tank with some water and it's great. I usually find a park toilet that I have to empty after use. It gets heavy when full (even 2.6 gallons), so be aware. Vigorous shaking is required to dislodge lower tank waste that easily detaches from upper seat/drain tank. If you use the toilet instead of transporting it (e.g. in a van/truck/car/plane anything that can shake it up) this is a good choice. CURRENTLY. We encountered a major problem with this toilet by using it on a van. First, there is an air vent in the top chamber cover. During transport, water leaks out of the upper chamber! I used some caulk to caulk this hole to prevent this and it fixed the problem. I thought the problem was solved. no more trouble. Luckily I had the foresight to make a stainless steel drip tray just in case with a 2 inch lip to hold water to install it. I took him to Baja for a month-long van ride. Baja is the ultimate test of pretty much everything, and this toilet didn't do the job. The upper tank not only fills with a lid, but water is thrown out of it with every movement of water. This also allows the water to exit the flushing system and remain in the bowl. This water then squirts out of the bowl onto the floor (EXECUTIVE). So. For stationary use, this is a good toilet. For use in the car or when transporting with a full upper flushing chamber. choose another toilet!
