This item actually comes with a ringcon just like the picture. The joycon attaches perfectly to it and correctly registers all bumps, pulls and inclinations of the ringcon. Rigcon feels solid, just like the Nintendo original. The leg strap fits well but slips off the leg during squats. It helps to put something blocky like a headphone case in a pocket to keep it from slipping off.
