This watch weighs only 30g and has a large negative LCD display. Although a backlight was once required, it doesn't appear to be necessary anymore, so you see white numbers on a black background. The digits are large enough to be easily read, but the lack of a backlight makes it difficult or impossible to read the watch in dim light or at a significant angle from the vertical. The dial shows the time in hours/minutes. By pressing the mode button once, you get a brief overview of the month and date. A double press will display the seconds, which will be displayed until the mode button is pressed again. On the left side of the watch are two buttons, one for the mode and one for setting the date and time. This is a little unusual, and those who wear a watch on their right hand will appreciate it. Right-handers can easily accommodate. The watch has a sporty look and the yellow one I received has a vibrant look that really stands out in the sun (or any UV source). The battery can be easily replaced by loosening the four screws on the back.
