Unboxing - Two protective boxes enclose a snap-on soft protective case. You can be sure that the goods will be delivered undamaged in transit. Underneath the box that surrounds the speaker is a mini USB to USB charging cable bracket. Appearance - it seems heavier than it looks, Muzen packed a lot of things into it. This portable mini stands or lies on its back on rubber feet - a nice touch. It looks like it's old world, but there's a lot of modern technology inside. The controls are very easy to use with one hand. Durability - I really liked the right charge port cover, it looks waterproof. Probably would have survived a small fall unscathed. It feels very solid in my hand. Range and Connectivity - I have a 2,400 square foot two story house. I couldn't even get out of range in the garage. It goes through multiple walls with ease. My tests show a little more than the claimed 30+ feet. Pairing is easy. Simply turn on Bluetooth on the Wild Mini and then turn on Bluetooth on the receiving device. Some devices require you to select "Scan" and the Wild Mini will appear. Click on it and the link will be installed. Battery Life - I let it run at "close" volume for ten hours, it was strong but it was bedtime. The charging port glows red while charging and turns blue when complete; I just left it charging for the night and was greeted by a beautiful blue glow at the port. I used the built in flashlight for about half an hour, a handy little extra feature. The sound quality - I saved the best for last - is amazing. For both speech and music it sounds like a MUCH larger speaker - and it can be very LOUD with little to no distortion - fantastic engineering. Final Opinion - I have 2 other similar devices; they are cheaper and worth their price. This is the device to get if you insist on build quality, functionality and truly superior sound quality.
