I bought these to keep my glasses safe and sound on a week long off-road canoe trip. Luckily I never had to use them. I tried it in the shallow water and they kept my goggles perfectly afloat. Of course, the color was also noticeable in the water. The straps were small in diameter which made it difficult to put on the arms of my glasses. But that's good because it means it doesn't slip off as easily. The arms of my glasses are thin metal, but even with them on, it was difficult to put them on. The biggest problem was that the float on the back got in the way of the backpack or the canoe yoke. OH!
