Overall a great watch for kids. I tested it for 2 weeks, used Tracfone prepaid sim and then T-Mobile sim. Both worked, good call quality, was really surprised how good it was. GPS worked but sometimes buggy. I think it worked a little better with T-Mobile than with Tracfone. I had a little setup issue with Tracfone so I contacted support. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they responded and walked me through the matter. So for this A ++. Also, the spy thing where you can listen to the kids around is great and I mean great feature. The phone goes into a sort of standby mode on their side, so they can't even turn it off. Great article for parents. A few cons. The volume when you first start the watch is very loud. Plain text messages are not allowed, only through the app, so both parents must have the app to send and receive messages. Kids can receive text and voice messages, but kids can only send voice or video messages, not text messages. This is not a bad thing as typing on the clock will be very difficult anyway. The last scam was an app called Line I believe. This is not a very good app for kids. According to my research online, it is similar to Facebook but used all over the world including China. They do not have parental controls and are therefore not suitable for children. I ended up liking the watch but my kid didn't. She is 11 and there were too many views, like Loki, like a little kid watch. So I had to send it back because if she doesn't want to wear it then it won't do the job. And last thing I forgot, all unknown calls and text messages that are not part of your child's phone book will be intercepted. and sent to the parent app. I think that's another great feature.
