If I could give half a star I would. The patterns are very cute, so I bought them to use as "grocery bags". HOWEVER - the bag is like a large cone - a narrow top opening not big enough to fit bulky items - and because it doesn't open straight, loading and unloading groceries becomes awkward and difficult. Because they don't have "straight lines" (like other grocery bags), the items inside are squeezed when the bag is lifted, and are only suitable for groceries, canned goods, or small boxes. If someone wants to use this beach bag or an extra large bag, it may be more suitable for carrying small items than large or bulky items.
