The plastic lens latch gets tangled easily

As the lens that attaches to it is very strong and heavy metal I figured it would also be the metal that the lens attaches to - it's very cheap plastic. If you make a mistake even once, attaching the lens to the body will not be easy. I am very frustrated that I spent so much on the lens and then the body required for such a result :( I've been weighing my options for over a year to get this one and I regret my decision little.
