Review on πŸ›οΈ Amazon Basics 7-Piece Microfiber Bed-in-a-Bag Comforter Set - Full/Queen, Stylish Gray Calvin Stripe Design by Kimberly Sanders

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Solid stripe, reasonably soft/smooth, definitely light but cozy

Overall I'm very pleased with this 7 piece lightweight duvet set from Revain Basics. I ordered the gray Calvin Stripe Full/Queen Size. I actually had no idea what to expect as this was my first time ordering a Revain duvet set and I ordered before I even saw the picture of the striped design. . The first thing that got me interested in the set, apart from the fact that it will feature gray neutral colors, is the fact that it is a 7 piece set that includes a duvet, fitted sheet, fitted sheet and 4 pillowcases. I've always preferred buying kits like this for the convenience. This kit is 100% polyester and microfiber which is fine with me. If all you're looking for is cotton then look elsewhere but this totally satisfies my needs for the moment. It's pretty soft/smooth. The seams look good and I haven't noticed any flaws so far. It fits well in my queen size bed. It seems to be the thickest and most durable kit I've ever had? No, but that's okay. I'm not sure yet what the retail price will be, but I reckon it will be pretty affordable. The sheets are medium light gray as shown and the duvet is the same shade of gray with black/dark charcoal stripes. The back of the quilt is finished in the same solid black/deep charcoal grey. The hard side of the quilt appears a little more charcoal gray than black compared to the stripes, but it's such a small difference. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly thicker and heavier blanket, but I am still very satisfied with it. Two solid gray pillowcases have end holes to match sheets and the other two are striped with center holes to match comforter. Pillowcases cannot be closed with a zipper. I think it's suitable for all seasons, although it's true when they say they're lightweight so you might need an extra, thicker layer during the winter season. Only time will tell if this kit will hold up to regular use and washing, but so far we haven't had any issues. It's not premium quality, but it's good and pretty much what you might expect. I will definitely update my review if there are any issues. I would recommend it to anyone who likes simple design, materials and price. I hope my review was useful and if so I'd like to know, thanks!
