Review on Speakers Headphones Headphone Replacement MMUSS by Travis Karren

I received these speakers on August 9th, 2019. I listened to them every night for about 3 months. At first I was very happy with them. They are comfortable and go well with my old SleepPhones headband. The sound quality and volume are good for listening to music, movies and YouTube videos while listening to music. lie on a pillow. I have enjoyed falling asleep many nights listening to my favorite music or documentaries. Everything changed a day ago when the left speaker kept turning off. Just last night the sound in the left speaker started dropping every time I moved. I found that the problem lies in the connection of the cable to the base of the headphone jack. If I wiggle the cord, I can find a position that elevates the left speaker, but that's hard to hold. The rubber boot that protects the cable connection to the headphone jack looks very durable, so I'm surprised it only lasted 3 months with normal use before the cable broke. It has withstood some tugging when I occasionally turn over in my sleep, but no more than a set of Panasonic in-ear headphones, which I've been using for a lot longer and have seen more abuse day and night. Overall, I really like these ultra-thin sleeping pillows. They are very affordable, comfortable, have good sound and volume. The reason for the low rating is the resulting pair's poor durability. I previously had a pair of these speakers with built in volume controls and play/pause, but they failed when the cable from the built in controller was disconnected. I bought a pair without a controller hoping they would last longer. Unfortunately, this is not the case.-B
