Review on πŸ”Š Outdoor Technology OT2800-B Turtle Shell 3.0 - Rugged Waterproof True Wireless Bluetooth Hi-Fi Speaker, Black, One Size - Unleash High-Quality Audio Outdoors! by Brian Graham

this works pretty well for portable speakers and docking stations

Black gets very hot and turns off in direct sunlight accidentally off. It's Black Metal, so put it to shame. can't turn off Bluetooth mode, so it consumes power even when using cables. Port covers are likely to be a weak point for water ingress despite being airtight. It's expensive and short-lived, but given a months or even weeks-long lockdown, it's probably worth it. The sound is pretty damn good for the size and weight, it feels a bit too punchy (gets pretty loud and distorted, not much bass) but at -50% volume the sound is really clean and you can hear the bass in the mix. 360 degree sound is definitely better than a tiny box or tube. It's not very convenient to pack, but luckily it fits perfectly in the headlamp pocket of my backpack, which is a big plus. The input for an additional cable is of high quality and does not hum like cheaper ones. Battery life is good. I wouldn't use it to charge my phone, but it's great for small, low-power USB LED lighting.

Pros
  • Included components: USB charging cable, cable with 3.5-3.5mm plugs, original ODT carrying case and user manual
Cons
