Very bright and colorful. These lights were pretty easy to install on my deck outside. I ordered several connectors and wires because I needed to cut the strips and use the connectors and wires to connect the strips together. I connected them through an Echo device but it has limited control. The application has a variety of control options with a wheel containing 100 pre-programmed lighting effects and about 10 basic parameters. In addition, it has the ability to program the patterns and colors you want to see. Hopefully they will last a few years but now they are bright and will add a lot to my Christmas lights!
