Not bad, even for a flashlight junkie.

This flashlight is worth the money. I also have a couple of reliable lights including a Lawman r1. I really admire this Streamlight stinger. It is of high quality. That's 400 lumens lighter than my legalist, but the difference isn't that noticeable. This light is blindingly bright. I love the rear derailleur and all you have to do is hold it down to toggle between power levels. The only thing that separates this flashlight from the Lawman r1 is readily available aftermarket parts. For example, try to buy an original battery for a lawyer; It does not exist. Without their proprietary battery, you only get 750 lumens from the r1. I've read nothing but rave reviews about the Streamlight Stinger family and I can see why. I've read a few negative reviews about some bad spikes, but there are very few of them. I had to send my r1 attorney over to an internal electronics problem. Surefire sent me a new light, but I'm just pointing out that every piece of electronics will have a certain percentage of units that fail. You will not regret buying this flashlight. I bought a rear mounted model that came with an AC/DC charging cable. The only criticism is the charging time of 9 hours to fully charge the battery. In addition, the red light of the charger cannot tell you that the battery is fully charged (does not flash when the Li-ion battery is not charged and does not change color). The batteries are already included so for the average person it should suit your needs. Also bought a 2 hour fast charger and another Halo battery which should arrive next week. The quick charger is stowed in the vehicle with the supplied DC cigarette lighter cable. A great setup for anyone in the security industry or just the average person looking for a great rechargeable flashlight setup. Pros: right size. Not too big or small. Fits under your armComfortable gripStrong constructionDual switchesComes with a spare battery. Charging components AC and DC plugs can be used on the same charger. Lifetime Warranty Cons The piggy charger takes 9 hours to fully charge the battery. .
