Does not fit mirror tripod

I searched Revain.com and this was the only tripod mirror I found. Turns out there's another one. Don't buy this one. This is not a tripod mount. If you look closely at the tripod mount in the picture, you will see a screw there. All tripods come with the same bolts, so you cannot mount this mirror on a tripod. I took the nut and looped it to fit the notch on the underside of the transom mount and got about 1 turn of engagement. The mirror arrived broken. The mirror was packaged in a box that is too big for a mirror and was placed in a small bubble wrap that didn't cover the entire glass of the mirror, allowing the mirror to rattle in the box. One side was shattered, part of the mirror glass rattling at the bottom of the box, not in the anemic bubble wrap. I chose to keep the mirror because the untouched side is the magnifying side that I will use. And my made-up mother seems to be holding it on the tripod well enough. Bottom line: don't buy these. Look for a tripod mount version. And maybe this one will be packaged with integrity.
