So when I first opened the box, I was surprised. It was my fault for not reading the description fully. I assumed it would be a thin felt organizer, similar to cheap shoe door organizers. However, it turned out to be thicker than expected and made of a leather-like material. According to the description it is leather. I don't know if it's real leather or not. Seems a bit on the cheaper side. But I was immediately positively surprised as I expected a thin felt material. I was itching to pick it up, so I threw a button on the wall to see it in action before settling on its permanent home. That's when I discovered the biggest design flaw. Rope! A wall rope is simply a rope tied into a loop that goes through two sockets. Because of this, the organizer's weight expands and makes it impossible to mount it horizontally on the wall. It's unattractive and very annoying! I really don't want to poke holes in the material to keep it flat. I've read other reviews and some people have gone to great lengths to improve the user experience to make it work for them. I don't have that much time in my lifestyle otherwise I would be totally up for a DIY project. I have to try and fail with different ways to hang it. Does that mean taping the rope (doesn't matter) behind the organizer to keep it in the right shape? or try two different nails separately for a new way of holding the rope taut. IDK. Everything I know "as is" doesn't work. So if you're creative, looking for a project, or don't care about the aesthetics and functionality of this organizer, this is for you. It looks good. Glasses of all shapes and sizes fit perfectly and I haven't felt them fall off, tear the back or get stuck. It's perfect for its purpose. To hang it, however, you need to do a little work.
