This amp appears to be a reissue of the 12vdc version which has been heavily criticized in some reviews. I don't think there is much need for a car mono amp unless you are a politician. This AC powered version is very different. It's the PERFECT little monitor amp that provides enough volume for two 8 ohm monitors for a variety of venues, small and light weight. The individual mic inputs are balanced with 1/4" more gain than the 1/4" unbalanced AUX input, they all have separate volume controls so it's basically a flat (no tone control) powered mixer. 50 watts RMS seems legitimate too For the money it's not a problem WARNING: Be sure to order the PMSA20 and not the 12V version of the PDSA10, IT LOOKS IDENTICAL.
