I have been using this as a bikini trimmer since 2018. It works great except the instructions don't say how to disassemble the blade and get the hair out. So this year I finally took it apart and found that this is possible! The blade falls off completely and is only held together by a plastic frame, mine has also started to rust because I never oiled it (shame on me as a professional barber/stylist). But it's not even about the oil! So I bought a new one because I couldn't find a replacement knife at a reasonable price. This time I read the instructions and it says to lubricate the blade from time to time but then no oil is given. I find it wasteful not to offer cheap blades, Philips can do better! All of their other products come with oil, why not? So ladies, lubricate your blades with BLADE/TRIMMER OIL, available from Sally's Store. And it lasts much longer and you can easily disassemble and clean your hair.
