Review on ⚡ Cbb60 Motor Capacitor: 16Uf 450Vac Frequency 50/60Hz with Wire Lead - White Capacitor by Adam Taylor

I ordered this for my Delta 28-185 band saw that I found at a garage sale for $20. It started but slowed down, the engine was very hot. I tried this capacitor (constant capacitor motor) even though it was 450V. I was hoping I could cut open the case and find a smaller capacitor that's flooded inside like reviewer Michael did because it was too big for a table band saw. motor capacitor bracket. I could see daylight at the bottom of the case so I sawed it off (see photo) but this capacitor filled the entire diameter of the case. I taped it and tied it to the motor. The bandsaw wouldn't start, but if I turned one of the disks it would start. I don't think I damaged the innards sawing, but I could have. I don't know why finding the right capacitor is so hard, but I was able to find one on eBay. In my photos it is gray and the seller is "lucky jade". It was 2-1/2 inches long and the OEM was 2 inches, but there is enough room under the condenser mounting cover to fit it. It worked and the bandsaw starts and runs well. Hope this helps someone.
