Review on πŸ“± Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 12/256 GB Smartphone: Sleek Beige Design combined with Ultimate Functionality by Adam Kowalski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

When choosing between the flagships Galaxy Z Fold4 1TB and Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB, I still chose the second option for the above reasons, the main of which were the presence of a standard S Pen stylus for work, a camera with the best zoom (optical up to 30 Γ—, digital up to 100 Γ—), a more capacious 5000 mAh battery and the correct 16:9 screen proportions, which make it more comfortable to watch videos without crop stripes even on a rectangular 6.8" than on a square 7.6". In any case, even such an unusual device as the Galaxy Z Fold4, but with 1 TB of memory, can be safely recommended for purchase instead of the notorious, banal iphone 13-14 pro max 1tb, if only because they are empty for their price and even from 1 TB they are of no use due to the stupid restrictions imposed by ios on installing software, downloading content, working with the file system and drives, and this foldable gadget from Samsung, like any Android smartphone, can do much more than ios devices, becoming one row with laptops, ultrabooks Windows

Pros
  • An interesting flagship solution in an unusual form factor. Big, nice inner screen, cool folding with distinctive sound. Not a bad camera. There is a 1 TB version, though not the PCT. There is a convenient multitasking mode for displaying several applications at once on the entire screen area, which is convenient to use.
Cons
  • The external screen is narrow and small already for 2022, 6.2 "in total, they could at least put 6.4", better 6.5-6.7" of course. There is a gap between the two halves when the large screen is folded. Full-screen 7.6" video is not proportionally stretched even in the standard Samsung Video Player, there are large black bars at the top and bottom, because the internal display itself is not rectangular 16:9, but square 4:3. There is no hole for the S Pen Pro tablet stylus , although it suggests itself for such a screen. The battery is rather weak, 4400 mAh in total.
