It takes some time to get used to
If you are new to this, it can feel very scratchy, rough and stressful the first few times. But after a while you can literally feel the movement of the beat flow and it's SO GOOD! I removed the handle from mine so I could just hold the brush close to my hand, which made it a lot easier for me to store it in my drawer.
