This is great for putting a mattress on a junk ledge but I recommend putting an old sheet on top of the mattress underneath if you're using it to use move. I laid it on a mattress with expensive new white sheets and sealed the open end with duct tape, thinking it would be fully protected. The movers managed to poke a hole in the plastic wrap and spoil the beautiful sheets with black dirt that wouldn't wash off. These particular movers also damaged some of the furniture so I'm not sure if it's their fault or if it's a lack of durability issue. In order to prevent this, you should always put an old piece of metal underneath if possible.
