It was easy to assemble even with arthritic hands, although it was tight and difficult in places. I didn't install the toy arches because the cat is 19 and won't be interested. However, I kept them for the kitten's future use. I placed the hammock in a small alcove where it slept on a cooler blanket and laid the blanket on top. She wasn't so sure at first, so I bet her. She immediately saw the benefit and stayed put for a while. This is a super picky score for old cats, so it gets a great review. We are now well prepared for the next heat wave!
