I recently moved and some furniture came into my new apartment. Among the remains was a large mirror in a heavy frame that I wanted to pick up and just left hanging. About three weeks later it fell (thankfully it didn't break) and I found that an 8-10 lb weight literally broke its (cheaply made) saw tooth bracket in half over time. There was also a broken wire on the back, suggesting it was probably dropped at least once due to its heavy weight. This new mount not only appears to hold up well, but (as advertised) is extremely easy to install thanks to the self-retaining knobs. In my opinion, it's worth paying a little more for that.
