Review on ๐Ÿ  Feshen Aquarium Light: Full Spectrum LED Light for Freshwater/Saltwater Tanks, Remote Control, Programmable Timer, Planted Tank Light (30-32inch) by Kimberly Choi

Very bright full spectrum LED aquarium light in a modern style!

While looking for an LED lamp for a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium with live plants, I came across the Feshen Aquarium Lamp, which claims to be a full-spectrum, programmable aquarium lamp that works for both freshwater and saltwater. It's also silver in color, which is different from other aquarium lights on the market, which are usually black and have raised stands. Packaging The aquarium light was well packed (for retail packaging) and the box describes all the characteristics of the light. When the device was unpacked, no damage to the contents was found. Remote control I've never seen a remote control, especially with such a giant aquarium light! :) It's the size of the remote control that usually comes with a TV or stereo receiver. This requires 2 AA batteries (not included) and you may need to use some force to insert the batteries into the compartment. The buttons will beep when pressed. The LED indicator lights up when the buttons are pressed. The build quality of the remote control is plastic and feels a bit cheap. It uses the 2.4GHz radio frequency and claims you can control multiple lights from a single remote. With the remote control, in addition to adjusting the RGBW light spectrum, you can program the current time, determine the time of sunrise and sunset, program the timer with 8 channels and switch between different (four) settings and modes. rated for 10 gallon (18-20 inch, 32 watt) aquarium. The lamp is made entirely of aluminum and plastic, the lamp body itself has a diffusing cover over the LEDs. Total 80 LEDs: 32 White + 8 Red + 8 Purple + 16 Royal Blue + 16 RGBW. There are 10 adjustable brightness levels (L10 - L100) plus a sunrise to sunset setting, and even that itself is programmable with 8 different brightness channels and different times. At 100% (L100) very bright! You can probably get by with 80% brightness (L80) in your tank, but YMMV. There are four lighting modes: freshwater fish, coral light, daylight and moonlight. Besides these four modes, there is also an RGBW button that allows you to adjust the colors as you like. The manufacturer specifies a high color rendering index > 90Ra and 1800 lumens. Aluminum frame lamp. There are four buttons on the top of the light for: ON/OFF, MODE SELECT and brightness level UP and DOWN. I suppose most people will end up using the included remote control. A nice feature and difference between this light and other brands is that the stands are raised or three inches from the edge/frame of your aquarium. With the adjustable ends extended as much as possible, it will fit my 10 gallon aquarium (with the plastic rim around it) with the correct angular tension. To be honest I think this contemporary modern light fixture would look better if I had a rimless aquarium rather than a more traditional aquarium with a plastic rim/frame. instructions, but there is one caveat: there are errors in the instructions. For example, setting the clock/time requires pressing the POWER button to toggle between HOURS/MINUTES, but this is not correct. You must press the CLOCK button, not the POWER button, to toggle between hours and minutes. Programming a light can be difficult and confusing due to the many functions available and typos in the documentation, but I suspect most people will end up just setting the current time. Another limitation: when switching between color spectrums, the brightness is automatically reset to a maximum value of 100% instead of staying at the currently set value. too complicated) which is crafted in silver in modern style and design. I'll update the review if needed once I'm done setting up my freshwater fish (or shrimp) tank.
