I originally bought this because I wanted to start making castor oil compresses and was put off by the price of the cotton flannel that is sold for this purpose. I thought these pillowcases were natural, organic, made of the same material, and finished edges. Haven't used them on oil packs yet but love these pillowcases! They are of excellent quality, very soft and wash well. I don't have a dryer installed but I think it will do. If I didn't have to sleep on a satin hair pillowcase I would totally use them. I am thinking of buying a set of bedding from the same brand. Also, I emailed the company that makes them and they responded the same day.
