I wanted my cats to love this as much as the cat we had many years ago but has since passed away. Unfortunately, they are not as enthusiastic about the ball as I am! They both like to scratch the cardboard insert, which is weird because both of our cats don't have claws. We have hardwood floors so I was disappointed when it turned out that the included non-slip feet didn't work. It turns out that they somehow disappeared completely! It's not really clear where they're going. So now we have a rug to hold it in place. Not ideal, but since they don't use it for ball games it can be tucked away in a corner if it doesn't move around a lot.
